The
Children’s and Young Adult Department of the Hingham Public Library is hosting
an SAT & ACT Information Session on Thu. Oct. 22, 7 PM at the Hingham
Public Library. Parents and Students are invited to attend an informal
gathering for an overview of the ACT and “newly revised” SAT college prep
tests. This will be an evening of open discussion and dialogue about college
test preparation, the process and the results. Guest speaker will be Hingham
resident Thomas Ventresca. Ventresca has been a private test
prep tutor on the South Shore for more than 10 years. His other life
experiences include high school teacher, football coach and 25 years in
financial markets. He is a graduate of Yale University with a B.A. in Economics
and Boston College where he earned a M. Ed in Secondary History. If you would
