Guidance Office Updates

Junior College Night

We will be holding our annual Junior College Night on Thursday, March 7th.  The night will begin promptly at 6:30 PM with a presentation from the guidance department about the college search process.  Afterwards, Kelly Montrym, an admissions counselor from Boston University will give a brief prensentation and be available to answer your questions.

We highly encourage all juniors and their families to attend!  More information will follow in the coming weeks.

Upcoming SAT/ACT Dates

The spring SAT and ACT dates are quickly approaching.  We recommend that juniors sign up for at least one of the dates below.  Regisration takes place on the College Board's website (SAT) www.collegeboard.com or www.actstudent.org (ACT).  Hull High is a test center for the May SAT.  If you are part of the Free and/or Reduced Lunch Program, please stop by the guidance office to pick up a fee waiver (we can give students two SAT waivers and two ACT waivers in their career).

SAT:
  • March 9th (register by 2/8)
  • May 4th (register by 4/5)
  • June 1st (register by 5/2)
ACT
  • April 13th (register by 3/8)
  • June 8th (register by 5/3)

On the topic of SATs...

...Seniors, please remember to send your official SAT scores from the College Board to the colleges you are applying to. They must be sent directly from your account and will (usually) not be accepted in any other form.  You do this directly from your College Board account.
