There have been recent incidents of children being
approached by strangers offering them rides.
One such incident happened yesterday afternoon.
These incidents serve as reminders that students and parents
should be diligent when waiting for the bus, going to and from school, and be
wary of strangers in general.
We ask you to remind your child that if approached by a
stranger immediately bring it to the attention of their parents, school
officials or the police.
All students in pre-kindergarten through grade 12 have been
reminded of ways to stay safe while in the community.
Your children’s safety is always our utmost concern.
