HHS Students Recognized in Dream@50 Art Contest

Recently, three Hull High School students were recognized as semi-finalists in a state-wide art contest.  The contest commemorates the 50th anniversary of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.'s "I Have a Dream" speech which was given in 1963.

All semi-finalist work was on display at Mass Art and will also be displayed in Logan Airport. On March 23, the Massachusetts College of Art and Design hosted The Dream@50 Art Contest Awards for Boston, featuring all semi-finalist work, dance performances by the Boston Arts Academy, and appearances by CBS-Boston's Weekend News Anchor Bobby Sisk, and State Rep. Jeffrey Sanchez.

We want to congratulate Brendan McCue, Gabrille Williamson, and Crystal Truglia for earning recognition as semi-finalists and having their work chosen to be publicly displayed.  We also want to give a special thanks to Ms. Amanda Held for encouraging our students and continuously working to bring recognition to the talented artists here at HHS.
