Congratulations to the Hull High School Concert Band for earning a Gold Medal rating based on a set of National Standards for Performance at last weekends World Strides OnStage Music Festival in Washington D.C.! This was their first music festival under the direction of Ian Barkon and Hull's return to the field of music competition. Along with 38 of the members, chaperones Mr. St. George (MS Band/Chorus/Music Teacher), Mr. Donohue (HS Science Teacher), and Mrs. Preston (Parent) rode down to D.C. on Friday, April 28th for some sightseeing and the adjudication. Before they returned on Sunday, April 30th, the Band and their director experienced a team bonding beyond anything they've already done.
