Guidance Updates for the Class of 2014
- Junior College Night has been rescheduled. The event will now be held on Wednesday, April 3rd at 6:30 PM in the Exhibition Room.
- On Wednesday, May 22nd an organization called Colleges that Change Lives will be holding a meeting and information session at the Westin Copley Place in Boston. The event begins at 7:00 PM. CTCL is a non-profit organization that has about 45 member universities. They travel together around the country exposing to students to schools they may not otherwise hear about. - HHS is able to nominate two students for the Elmira College Key, which is a $60,000 scholarship ($15,000 for four years) to Elmira College in Elmira, NY. Students must plan to apply to Elmira in the fall of their senior year. Please note, this scholarship can only be used at Elmira College and a nomination does not ensure the student will be chosen to receive the award.

- To be eligible students must meet the following criteria:
- The candidate must be a junior in high school and be confirmedd as being in the top 10% of the class; or have an acceptable rank in class in academic courses as determined by the Elmira College Director of Admissions.
- A minimum academic grade average of 90 (A-, about a 3.2 on our scale) is expected.
- The candidated must have demonstrated outstanding school and community leadership.
