Maria’s style delivers user- friendly words and strategies with humor, pathos and a clear knowledge of both the parent and child. She is an assistant professor of developmental pediatrics at Boston University School of Medicine, Director of the Good Grief Program at Boston Medical Center, author of Talking With Children About Loss (Penguin-Putnam), and faculty for T. Berry Brazelton’s National Lecture series.
