Lots of Great Things Happening at Hull High School

It is really starting to feel like fall out there.  The leaves are almost gone from the trees in front of the schools, our fall teams are all playing, and students and teachers are really "hitting the books".  It is a busy and exciting time here at Hull High School, and here are a few things that I would like to draw to your attention:

1,  We've added a number of new scholarships to Family Connection (https://mail.town.hull.ma.us/exchweb/bin/redir.asp?URL=http://connection.naviance.com/hull), our college planning website.  Students should check their page frequently for deadlines and instructions on how to apply.  We will continue to update this site as new scholarships are brought to our attention.

2.  The date for our Senior Parent Evening has been changed to Monday, October 3rd @ 6:30.  This is great evening, full of useful information, for parents of seniors, and all are encouraged to attend.

3.  Our Second Annual Advisory Kick-off Day is planned for Friday, September 23rd.  Please make sure your student returns the permission slip that he/she was given this week.  Freshman will stay at Hull High School and participate in team-building exercises, sophomores will complete community service projects throughout Hull, juniors will go to Boston and visit colleges and universities, and seniors will visit cultural sites in Boston.  Any student who needs financial assiatnce should see Mr. Sivo on Monday or Tuesday.

4.  Please plan on joining us on November 6th as we welcome our NEASC visiting team.  More information will be coming soon, but mark your calendars now!

A special thanks to those parents who attended our Open House this past Tuesday.  We hope you found the night informative and enjoyable.  I know that all of us here at Hull High School enjoyed seeing you.

That's all for now, but please keep checking the blog at http://www.hullhighschool.blogspot.com/, or at Hull High School on Facebook.  Also, please help us spread the word to all parents and community members that there is now a great place to get information about all the great things happening at Hull High School.

Have a wonderful weekend and I hope to see you at the game tonight or at Endless Summer this weekend.
