Congratulations to the Pirate Cheerleaders!

The Hull High School Cheerleading Squad recently competed at the Marshfield High School Invitational receiving their highest score ever. The girls worked tirelessly throughout the season and performed a flawless routine on Saturday.  Only two points behind Rockland, the girls hope to increase their skill level and place well at the upcoming League Competition to take place on November 6^th at Abington High School.

There will be a pizza party in the cafeteria following the presentations…bring your appetite!

Homecoming Photos

We let you know all about last week's homecoming activities via the blog.  Now, thanks to John Lidington, we want you to see some of the wonderful moments our school community experienced this past Friday.  It was an amazingly successful homecoming and our students enjoyed every minute of it.  Enjoy!

                 The Homecoming Court met on Wednesday for a special photo shoot with Mr. Lidington.

           Our Fall Cheerleaders gave one of their best performances in recent memory during our rally.

    Our future King and Queen danced onto the basketball court at the rally along with the rest of the Homecoming Court.  They would not be crowned until the dance later that night.

The senior class of 2012 was loud and proud throughout the rally festivities.

 The Hull Pirates football team moved their record to an impressive 5-2 with an overtime victory over Randolph.

 After a classic overtime victory for our football team, our students danced the night away and our King and Queen were crowned.

The dancing did not stop with the naming of the King and Queen.  Over 200 students and guests danced well into the night with glow sticks in hand.

Live... from Hull High School's Homecoming!

What a great night!  First, our Pirates had a FANTASTIC win in overtime against the Randolph Blue Devils.  Then, 200 of our students entered the gym for a night of dancing and fun.  Less than 20 minutes ago, Jen Farrell (Homecoming Queen 2010) crowned this year's Hull High School Homecoming King and Queen... Jake Botelho and Nathalia Fonseca!  Congratulations to our new Hull High School royalty!

The students are still in there dancing as I am typing this.  They are doing their usual fantastic job, proving once again that Hull High School students are outstanding young adults.  Moms and Dads and guardians - you have every reason to be so proud of your Hull High School students!

A HUGE shout out to Mr. Sivo and the Student Council for putting on a great Spirit Week, rally and dance.

Also - thanks to Ms. Wescott, Mrs. Connors, Mrs. Grosso, Coach Q, and Mr. Lidington for chaperoning the dance with us tonight.  That gym is hot and loud!

2011 Homecoming Court Selected

On Wednesday, October 12, 2011 Hull High School's senior class nominated five boys and five girls to make up this year's homecoming court.  The ten nominees will dance their way onto the basketball court this Friday during our annual homecoming rally.

Following the rally, the entire student body will vote for one boy and one girl to serve as homecoming king and queen.  The entire court will again be showcased during halftime of the homecoming football game vs. Randolph on Friday night.  Finally our new king and queen will be crowned at 10:00PM during our school-wide homecoming dance.

Congratulations to all members of the court and their families.

College Preparedness Workshop

Attend this free information session for parents on how to get their kids college and work ready (Hint: good grades are not good enough). Parents of middle school and early high school-age children are especially encouraged to attend.

·        Expectations and assumptions of college faculty

·        Work/study habits and organizational skills: high school vs. college

·        Why getting good grades now is not a guarantee for future success

Congratulations to Jim Quatromoni

Congratulations to our Athletic Director / Community Outreach Coordinator Jim Quatromoni on being selected this year's recipient of the The Ted Damko Award.  The recipient of this award, selected by their peers, must be an athletic administrator having five or less years of experience in the field who has made significant contributions to the school, league, district and State.
We all know that Jim has made a HUGE difference here at our school, but many do not know that Jim is highly respected throughout the state for his work on behalf of student-athletes.

Congratulations, Jim, and keep up the outstanding work!
