Scholarship Award
The Friends of the Hull Public
Library is sponsoring the Helen M. Weiser Scholarship Award in the amount of
$2,000. The award will go to a graduating senior residing in Hull, regardless
of where he or she goes to school, or who, regardless of residency, graduates
from Hull High School, and who is continuing his or her education as a
full-time student at a fully accredited institution. This award honors the
Friends of the Hull Library's President, Helen M. Weiser, and our intent is to
provide financial assistance towards the purchase of the recipient's textbooks
for his/her continuing education. Applications are available to download and
print, or can be picked up at your school's guidance office and at the Hull
Public Library. Students will need to submit a completed application along with
a typed essay. Please see the application below for further details.
The deadline for submissions
is April 25, 2016 before 5:00pm.

Heidrea for Heroes Award

Heidrea for Heroes,
Inc. was established in 2013 as an
IRS 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that provides custom veteran support
in the following counties: Bristol, Barnstable, Plymouth, Norfolk, and
Worcester (specific towns).
Our mission is to provide adaptive housing renovations, vehicle
modifications, specialized mobility equipment, veteran/family support and
workforce readiness and training opportunities that will inspire and motivate veterans and families to move
forward. By providing a positive direction during unexpected hardships that
result of the unselfish acts of our United States veterans, we honor their
service.
As
part of our mission Heidrea for Heroes, Inc.
is proud to offer our first Veteran Legacy Scholarship. Our organization
recognizes the value of all that veterans have done for our country and we
strive each day to give back to those who have given so much. This
scholarship was created to help a veteran family in financial need who has a
graduating high school senior that would benefit from a helping hand.

your graduating high school seniors, that meet the guidelines in the attached
document, that would be greatly appreciated.

HarborOne is excited to provide ten college
scholarships of $1,000 each for the upcoming academic year to deserving
high school seniors who embody a commitment to community and academic
excellence.
General Eligibility (please find further
details on Instruction Sheet)

The student’s
immediate family* must have an active account** with HarborOne Bank.

Immediate relatives of
HarborOne employees or Board Members are not eligible.
·
Scholarship must be
used to attend an accredited 2 or 4 year college or technical school.
Step One:

Step Two:
Request Official High School Transcripts be sent directly to HarborOne Bank
Step Three:
Send ONECommunity Scholarship Recommendation Form to TWO References to Complete
Step Four:
Complete and Submit ONECommunity Scholarship Application – email submissions are preferred
