Dear Hull High School Band Alum,
For
those of you that do not know me, my name is Ian Barkon and I am the High
School Band Director and Music Teacher.
Last year I was approached by Vickie Desharnais to restart the Alumni
Band. After some discussion we decided
that we should first get a feel for the amount of interest to restart an Alumni
Band and offer any alumni from Hull an opportunity to perform with our High
School Band. We thought that the holiday
season would be an appropriate time to invite any alumni interested in
performing, to join the High School Band for some winter classics during the
program. The Winter Concert is Thursday
December 18 at 7 PM in the High School Auditorium. In addition to the performance, we discussed
having some rehearsals prior to. Here
are the following rehearsal dates:
October –
29 November – 5 & 12 December – 3 & 17
All
rehearsals start at 5:00 PM and end at 6:30 PM in the High School Music Room.
Please
plan on attending all or most of the rehearsals so that you feel comfortable
performing the music along with the High School Band. Please RSVP me the dates that you CAN make
