The juniors in Ms. Cowen's US History II classes and Mr.
MacKenzie's AP US History classes had a great time exploring the collection of
over 7,000 authentic WWII artifacts at the Museum of World War II on Wednesday.
Some stand-outs included the many rifles and other weapons the students were
able to handle, German enigma machines, prisoners' belongings from Nazi
concentration camps, propaganda posters, spy gear, parachutes from D-Day, and of course the Sherman tank!
A big 'Thank You' to the Hull PTO and Hull Boosters Club for
helping to fund this great experience.
