Dear Parents of Grade Eight Students:
Greetings from the faculty, staff and administration of Hull High School . As your student’s years at the Memorial Middle School draw to a close, it is time to start planning for his/her first year at Hull High School . On April 9th, the Hull School Committee approved our 2012-2013 Program of Studies, allowing us to start the process of course selection for next year. Over the next few months, we will work with you and your eighth-grader to develop the schedule that best meets their academic needs.
To start this process, I ask that you join me on Thursday April 26th at 7 PM in the Hull High School Exhibition Room. The high school guidance counselors and I will present an overview of our academic program and the process used to select the courses that your student will take during their first year at Hull High School . This meeting should last approximately 90 minutes and is designed for parents and guardians. Your eighth-graders will see a similar presentation the next day, when they travel to Hull High School for “Step-up Day.”
I hope to see you on April 26th and I look forward to working with you and your student over the next 4 years.
Sincerely,
Michael F. Devine
Principal
